If you have never read a "For Better or For Worse" cartoon, then you are in for a treat. Canadian cartoonist Lynn Johnston takes a humorous look at life through the Patterson family, John, Elly, and their children. Through the years I have followed this imaginary but all so real family as the parents raise their kids with love and humor, all the while facing real life problems not unlike the ones my family and I face.

This is truly a most enjoyable collection (I have every volume and rush to buy each new one that comes out). Below there is a link to the syndicated comic strip, but they only present a couple of months worth of strips.
